The Gsies Valley offers the right cross-country skiing trails for all requirements and wishes: from easy and flat routes to sporty and challenging ones, everyone can find the right trail. Over the years, the valley has become a real insider’s secret for cross-country skiers and elite athletes thanks to its diversity and daily maintenance of the 42 km of pistes. A very wide range of awards and events also contribute to this.
The Gsies Valley is also part of Europe’s largest cross-country skiing carousel with more than 1,300 kilometres of trails and twelve areas covered by one pass. Our cross-country skiing teacher, Barbara, will tell you about the right techniques and the proper equipment in her cross-country skiing classes. - The Gsiesertal Lauf in February: this has been one of the most well-known and popular races in the entire Alpine region for over 30 years.
- Biathlon World Cup in Antholz: with top teams from all over the world at a location which enjoys some of the richest traditions in the international sport and biathlon world.
